Many of the holidays have some sense of God in them. But they also have a pagan origin or
have been hijacked by commercial enterprises.

Psalms 78:37 their hearts were not right towards God

Simon’s approach to God was to let me “mix” God into what I’m doing, even if I have to pay for it.

What Are The Holidays A Season Of:

What are the holidays a season of, is it a season for spending time with family, is it a season for
eating a favorite food, or are the holidays a time of forgetting your problems? What are the
holidays a season of:

1. Season To Rejoice.
Celebrate – have a good time.
What are the holidays a season of? It’s a season of rejoicing by letting Jesus Christ be Lord, in
our hearts, home, and holiday habits.
Remember this as you go through the holidays, “this is the day that the Lord has made; we will
rejoice and be glad in it.” (Ps 118:24).
What are the holidays a season of, t’s a season to “rejoice forevermore” (1hess 516)?

2. Season To Pray.
What are the holidays a season of? It’s a season of prayer, that family, friends, and America
would come to know Christ, who is the true reason of the seasons.
This is a time to “Pray Without Ceasing” (1Thess 5:17). What are the holidays a season of? It’s a
season to pray.

3. Season of Thanksgiving.
What are the holidays a season of? It’s a season of thanksgiving, even if we’re going through the
storms, sorrows, and situations of life, “In everything give thanks:” (1Thess 5:18). What are the
holidays a season of, it’s a time of thanksgiving?
