Frontal lobe – overcomer

Frontal lobe – overcomer
The Holy Spirit doesn’t need your frontal lobe to get to your mind.
To write on your cerebral cortex the holy soirit by the inspiration of the Almighty can inspire you
like He did Peter.
Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my father!
God skipped Peter’s frontal lobe.
the year before. He began with the most elemental statement of all.
He walked out with a football in his hand. He said, gentlemen, this is a football.
They were seconds away”
“from being world champions a couple months ago.
And he’s saying, this is a football?
Lombardi was coaching a group of three dozen professional athletes who just
months prior had come within minutes of winning the biggest prize their sport
could oer. And yet he started from the very beginning. Get your catchers out here.
Lombardi’s methodical coverage of the fundamentals continued throughout
training camp. Each player reviewed how to block and tackle. They opened up the
playbook and started from page one.
At some point, one of the players said, Coach, could you slow down a little? You’re
going a little too fast for us. Lombardi reportedly cracked a smile, but continued his
obsession with the basics all the same.
His team would become the best in the league at the tasks everyone else took for
granted.
Six months later, the Green Bay Packers beat the New York Giants 37-0 to win the
NFL Championship. The 1961 season was the beginning of Vince Lombardi’s reign
as one of the greatest football coaches of all time. He would never lose in the
playos again.
In total, Lombardi won ve NFL championships in a span of seven years, including
three in a row, and he never coached a team with a losing record because he
became obsessed with the fundamentals.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Bible”
Peter most likely has a temperment or an attention disorder Which he used when he talked
about Elijah and other prophets.
Jesus said I know what they are saying but what do you say passed your intellect, experiences
and hypothesis- You are Christ!
Intellectually I knew nothing about overcoming or that I could be an overcomer. But hearing the
phrase without intelligent reasoning I caught it and it was written indelibly on the heart of my
mind.
No matter where I am or what I am doing the call of being an overcomer pulls me away from
sin.
Ultimately you can not learn it. You can cultivate it but God must give you the understanding.
2. Simon do you loves these?
Jesus was trying to get Simon to avoid using his frontal lobe.
The frontal lobe of your Holy Spirit is your working mind. Not your short term or long term
memory
Just because you have a scripture or an answer when you are asked a question doesn’t mean
you are led by the Holy Spirit
Acts 3:16 a “perfect soundness”
What does it mean to have perfect soundness?
It was not Peter’s holiness or own power that healed the lame man – spirit soul and body- it
was Jesus in them. Acts 3:12
Peter’s answer was not from his carnal mind because when you are carnal you claim all the
allegiance and praise
